Overview

We booked a spa weekend, directly with the hotel, booking directly ensured that I was able to get the disabled access room that was for wheelchair users. The hotel did not disappoint, and the room was spacious and well laid out, the bathroom was so spacious with a walk in shower and a separate bath, so it was perfect for us both to use. The bed was low, so it was easy for me to transfer onto it which was nice. The spa is accessible for all and I was able to use the spa and enjoyed a great massage and nothing was too difficult for the staff. The dining room is on two levels. However they will find you a space on either , and if need be rather than using a ramp, you can leave and enter through a side door to get into the conservatory. A great hotel and a memorable weekend. I would definitely recommend.

Transport & Parking

The parking is right at the front of the hotel with two disabled spaces. There is ramped access to the front door, and a Door man is on hand to open the doors. If they are closed, depending on the time of year, we went on a beautiful day in May, so the weather was warm and the doors were open.

Access

The hotel is on multiple levels with an elevator to the rooms and a separate elevator to the spa. Overall, I had no issues getting around the entire facility.

Toilets

The restrooms on the dining level are accessible and well provisioned.

Staff

The staff could not help you enough, from carrying your bags in from the car to bringing your drinks to your table. Nothing was too much.
