Overview
This is an unusual attraction set in a pretty village where there are other things to see that are accessible. The pub across the road The Taveners has disabled access at the back (signposted helpfully). There is also a large spacious level access cafe right next door, recenlty done up. By the car park is the Old Smithy with a free accessible garden, shops and a cafe. Big car park with plenty of blue badge spaces.
Transport & Parking
We travelled by car. There is a disabled parking spot in the steet nearby, otherwise suggest dropping off and then parking in the car park along the road. There's lots of facilities there but the road between the car park and the Model Village loses the pavement or becomes narrow in places.
Access
It's all level access, though narrow in places. Lots to see and all at a low level so great for children and wheelchair users. There is a little cafe there and a gift shop.
Toilets
We didnt check out if there was a disabled toilet. However there are new facilities in the nearby car park.
