Neon Everywhere You Look!

Overview
A wonderfully quirky place to visit. I think 'ecclectic' is probably best description! In a small industrial estate in Walthamstow, its slightly off the London tourist trail. Primarily a sign maker/stockist for shops, films and private buyers, this place is only open to the public at weekends (fri, sat, sun). Neon signs are absolutely everywhere you look! But also some other random bits and pieces. Be aware, if taking children, some of the signs are quite rude. You can wander around freely, it's not a large place, but you can walk round several times and notice something different each time. It has its own cafe, the cheese toasties were good!
Transport & Parking
This is in a small industrial estate in Walthamstow. It can be reached by Victoria underground line from central London, but there is a walk from the station, so if mobility is difficult you may want to look at local buses/taxi.
Access
Gods Own Junkyard is great to see, and the main collection is accessible, but a few other areas could be improved to make it more suitable for all. Entrance from pavement is a slope/ramp, and the flooring is smooth and on one level throughout the main area. However it doesn't have an accessible toilet, and access to the little outdoor courtyard is only by a couple of steps (though there is seating available inside, so it isn't necessary to use courtyard). The charm of the place is the bright lights all over the place - but this might not suit everyone.
Toilets
There is only one toilet for all customers to use. This isn't an accessible toilet. This is up a couple of stairs, so wouldn't be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. I'm not sure if it is possible for them to do anything to change this within the building
Staff
I didn't have much need to speak to staff. The only person I spoke to worked in the cafe.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This takes a bit of effort to reach, but is an unusual place and fun to look around. It is free (unusual in London) and you can wander round for as long as you want
