Overview
In the Lochalsh area, close to the famous Glenelg turntable ferry, is Glenelg village and its amazing Community Hall. After a long cycle ride from Kyleakin and facing another long ride back, we were thrilled to find a café open in this hall. While that was all lovely and quite 'normal' for rural Scotland, what is wonderful about this venue is the accessibility. Around the back of the hall are the very accessible toilets AND two disabled parking spaces right there. Who knew? Visit if you are within any reasonable distance and do head down to see the famous ferry, with its attendant seals, porpoises and otters.
Transport & Parking
Two identified parking spaces at the rear, by the toilets. Plenty of flat parking to the front too.
Access
Flat entrance, good parking.
Toilets
Not marked but easy to find once we were directed. It's just on the other side of the hall.
