Overview

Excellent staff and good access throughout building although ground toilet awkward for wheelchairs. No guarantee you will get parked in car park as sadly a lot of drivers abuse blue badge parking

Transport & Parking

There are disabled bays in short term car park but every time I’ve gone I never get one. Mostly because at least half of the spaces are taken up by cars not displaying blue badge! Common problem in car parks as bigger cars always try to get them for their ease and they know no one is enforcing car park. Have complained but I understand they can’t legislate for peoples selfishness

Access

Toilets

Accessibile toilet on ground floor is very tight for my powered wheelchair. Almost impossible to turn in and twice I have accidentally triggered alarm. First time staff there quickly, 2nd time no one came. There is apparently a changing places room which perhaps might be bigger but staff didn’t know about it. Toilets on upper levels much better

Staff

Ground assistance staff are probably the best of any airport I’ve been to. Very helpful, very clear in instructions, and take great care with passengers.
