Overview
Beside the A32 and the Meon River this pub has plenty of parking (2 wheelchair bays beside front door), flat access, plenty of room and tables suitable for wheelchair users. The beers and food are locally sourced and of highest quality - indeed chips (triple-fried) were voted 'best ever'. Interesting seasonal menu that changes regularly and some mouth-watering dishes (slow roast venison shank and slow-roast ox cheek, to mention just two recent ones). Have wheelchair accessible loo but I didn't use it.

Staff
A bit stretched at times but we were in no hurry and the food really was cooked for us. Staff charming and friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Riverside garden beside Meon River for summer days. Deck/Conservatory inside is NOT accessible. Beer was excellent.
