Overview
This was advertised as a positive food experience and it certainly was, if you like steaks, it’s the place. They cater for non meat eaters too with a small, varied and deliberately meat eaters feast on various cuts of beef. Bar upstairs and restaurant downstairs accessed via a lift. Food was cooked to order and to perfection. Yes it costs £££, but that reflects the quality of the product.
Transport & Parking
There is blue badge parking outside this venue, and around St. Andrew Square. The Tram rums into the Square, in both directions and buses by Lothian Nos, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16, via the Square and Princes Street services 1, 3, 4, 19, 21, 22, 26, 31, 33, and services of First bust Bus, East Coast with Waverley Station being 450m.
Access
Very accessible with ample space in a large, ambiance lit venue, there were no braille or other formatted menus but I was offered to have the menu and choices read out and explained. Before each course was presented, the waiter explained the food presented.
Toilets
The toilet location was clearly explained and directions clearly given. There were ample and attentive staff to give assistance and directions. The toilets were large, fully accessible and spotless in cleanliness and regularly checked and refreshed.
Staff
Recognised our accessibility and the attention shown and the service was excellent.
