Overview
Step-free access. Friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful and attentive to my 'special needs'. Delicious sandwiches (need Homer Simpson dribbling meme here!). Reasonable prices based on the quality of what I got and the claims re: product sourcing. Only loses a point due to the lack of accessible loo.
Transport & Parking
Taxi can stop right outside. Parking available right along Market Street (if you can get a space). Close to Waverley Station - not sure where the nearest bus stop would be though.
Access
Flat access and staff who rushed to open the door for me on seeing me rock up in the scooter. Room to get to the service counter inside. Easy to see and communicate with staff behind counter and get access to drinks fridge. Small space inside with high stools around tables, but was assured that a lower table could be provided.
Toilets
Staff told me that their loo is shared with another business in another arch, and has a step, but Baba Budan just down the road are happy to let G&G customers use their facilities.
Staff
Friendly and personable and clearly committed to the business ethos - free range chicken, sustainable packaging etc. Also I felt that it was the kind of place where the staff would genuinely be happy for you to go in and ask them "What should I have today?" and tailor something to your specific tastes. Brilliant.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
My first visit today, and I must say that although Risk it for a Brisket was a heart attack on a plate, man it would be a good way to go.
