Overview
Coffee shop with cheeky pun name, which doesn't reflect the welcome + great service it offers. Café is step free.
Transport & Parking
The nearest train and tube station is London Bridge, which has limited step free access. From London Bridge tube or train station exit at St Thomas Street and café is about 5 minutes walk away. There are several buses that stop close by.
Access
The entrance is step free and the café is all on the ground level. The café is self service and the counter is at standing height. There is an eclectic assortment of free standing tables, chairs, arm chairs and sofas.
Toilets
There is a ground floor toilet, at the rear for the café. It has a wheelchair user symbol on it. However when I spoke to the staff I was told that it doesn't have grab rails. I was queuing to use it, but decided not to wait as we were going to the nearby museum.
Staff
Staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. When I asked about the accessible toilet I was advised about the lack of grab rails. When I went back to my seat the same member of staff asked me if the toilet had been ok for me to use. This was done in a genuine, friendly manner and was particularly appreciated as the café was busy.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The coffee shop sells good standard drinks and food. We had a piece of cake each, see photo, and although we were eating in it was served in a box, not an issue for us but someone else may not like this. Overall this coffee shop was a good choice, in terms of access, staff and food and drink available. Venue is quirky, in a good way. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
