Overview

We were hungry after seeing a film and decided to head over to Frankie and Benny's nearby to the Vue cinema. It's a very family friendly place which was nice to see. The service and the food were both very good. We were made to feel welcome and my walker didn't phase the staff. It's nice to go out to eat without any fuss or tricky access, stress-free. We would definitely return in future.

Transport & Parking

We were parked at the Vue cinema at Cheshire Oaks, for which there is adequate parking. The diner was a short walk away across a paved area.

Access

Step free access. All ground floor. Range of seating, including booths. Some of these were up a step but there was enough choice not to have to sit there.

Toilets

There was an accessible toilet on the corridor with the other toilets. It was clean and easy to use. Room for a carer, just about. Did not see a Changing Places option. All grab rails were there.

Staff

The staff were great. The barman let us choose where we sat and even removed a chair so I didn't need to fold up my walker. The waitress was patient with us because I had to wait, having taken a tablet. She brought our drinks then gave us time to order. The food was delicious, good quality chicken burger and fries, which was all we wanted after seeing our film.
