Overview
Plenty of space by the tables but not all seating is suitable. There is a long ramp up to the bar and also handrails on the steps inside. A nice venue, a good menu, but spoilt by dirty glassware.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of parking and two poorly marked disabled bays near the entrance. (I parked elsewhere as the yellow paint was so faded I didn't spot them) The tarmac is quite rough and cracked.
Access
There is a long ramp up to the bar area and a few steps down the other side with a handrail. Some areas have high benches or tall stools but there is plenty of other seating available and a decent amount of space around the tables.
Toilets
The toilet is excellent and one of the biggest I have seen.
Staff
Took a while for someone to come out and serve. The first glass I was given was filthy and had the remains of someone's orange juice. I took it back for a clean one and without apology was given another. That was just as bad. I drank out of the bottle.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There is a large garden area with children's play equipment. There is a rough but manageable path round the pond to get to this. The venue is good but what a pity I felt the staff did not want to be there.
