I was able to get into the reception area without a problem. The review of my stay is as follows We had thought about coming here for a while, and finally made it. Forest Holidays, who have sits throughout the UK, offered accessible cabins and we booked the Silver Birch wheelchair-adapted cabin, which met my needs really well. The bonus was having a hoist at the hot tub, meaning I was able to join my wife for a soak. The cabin had an accessible downstairs bedroom and a really spacious wetroom next to it. The bedroom worked well. My only negative comment would be I found the reading light a bit low for purpose. The wetroom really worked well, with good support rails at the toilet and a really secure shower seat with an adjustable height showerhead. Perhaps I am being pernickety in saying I found the washbasin to be on the small side and that the tap was not as responsive as I thought it would be. Outside, I found the decking beside the hot tub a nice place to sit and watch and listen to the birds. Unfortunately I didn’t see much wildlife and my wide and daughter did. Oh, I just remembered that my daughter had her own bedroom/bathroom and shower upstairs which she found met her needs. The cabin had a well equipped kitchen area (it even had a dishwasher) and a comfortable table to sit at and have our meals. There was a comfortable seating area with a higher chair into which I transferred from my wheelchair to watch television. I know we upgraded the TV and Wifi package, but the TV we had gave information about the site and allowed you to do a few things relevant to our stay, as well and choosing what to watch. We found the meal delivery option really good as well. We also noted it seemed to be a popular site for cyclists and saw canoes to be active on the Loch I shall, hopefully, return here. It was so different to staying in a town. Just looking out and seeing trees and a loch was good. Having an accessible hot tub was such a bonus!
