Great family day out!

Overview
Completely scooter/wheelchair accessible and I don’t know what it is about Wales but everyone is so helpful and friendly. I was new to my scooter when I visited here and felt a little daunted but after an hour or so I was whizzing around looking at rhinos with my daughter on my lap! Restaurants and cafes are accessible for wheelchair/scooter users as is 99.9% of the whole park. This is a really good day out for all ages and there’s lots to do if the weather is bad. Probably the best animal/play park I’ve been to in the UK 🇬🇧
Transport & Parking
I was newly registered disabled and hadn’t yet received my blue badge. The staff were understanding and told me to park in the disabled area anyway. HOWEVER there is then a walk from the parking to the gates. Fine for those in a chair/scoot but with a walking aid some may find it too much.
Access
Whole of the park was accessible other than some of the children’s play area due to lipped surfaces which weren’t so easy to navigate.
Toilets
Lots of seating around. Disabled toilets weren’t luxurious but they did have railed supports and pull cord. No changing places but I do think that Folly farm will soon be on the way to putting one in! Clean and tidy and room for a carer to assist.
Staff
Super friendly. I love the Welsh!
