Overview
I visited this cafe bar with my sister & a friend for lunch. It is Accessible & wheelchair friendly. All measures for coronavirus restrictions are the in place, 2 metre distancing was in place & we’ll sign posted. Hand sanitiser dispensers were at suitable points when entering & leaving the building & were at the correct height for wheelchair users. All members of staff & customers were wearing face masks appropriately. Hi I had no concerns visiting this cafe bar.
Transport & Parking
This cafe bar has its own tarmac car park with 2 designated disabled parking spaces. These are near to the ramp going into the building.
Access
There is a ramp to get to the door to enter the cafe bar. The automatic doors are operated by a push button at the correct height for a wheelchair user.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is in a room beside the other toilets it is well signposted it is large enough for a wheelchair & a carer if needed. There are plenty of grab rails in appropriate places. It was very clean & tidy. Hi o
Staff
The staff were very friendly & helpful guiding us to a suitable table for the wheelchair where it was easy to get into without having to disturb other customers. As mentioned before they were all wearing appropriate face masks & maintained social distancing when at all possible.
