Overview
Easy to access in a wheelchair, plenty of suitable tables, friendly staff and a good accessible toilet. Delicious gourmet burgers and chips. I love it!
Transport & Parking
Wimbledon Station is very close by and if you're lucky you will get staff to assist you boarding and leaving trains, both National Rail and District Line - it can be a bit random with National Rail, but District Line (like all tube lines) guarantees a turn-up-and-go service. Tramlink runs from this station too and is fully step-free across its whole network. Wimbledon is also very bus-rich.
Access
Altogether excellent for wheelchair users. Step-free entrance and enough space to manoeuvre around once you're in. There are wheelchair-friendly tables. The ordering counter is a little too high for comfort for wheelchair users, but the pick-up counter where you collect your food is at a good low friendly level. The music is too loud.
Toilets
The accessible toilet (you'll need your RADAR key, or staff will come and unlock it if you don't have one) is well-designed but the bin obstructs the wheelchair transfer area (see my picture below). Two stars lost for this obstruction.
Staff
Lovely staff, everyone I dealt with was charming, friendly and helpful. Top marks!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is emphatically not just another burger chain like McDonald's or Burger King. The food is on a much higher, gourmet, level, and is absolutely fantastically delicious: strongly recommended.
