Overview

I couldn't walk past this shop without going inside. A window display full of cakes and pastries, and an inviting step-free entrance with the door propped wide open. There were no regrets - Fisher and Donaldson is an absolute delight.

Transport & Parking

On street parking right outside, a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and city centre buses just a short walk away.

Access

I only went inside for takeaway, but I did notice a seating area over to the left. There entrance is step-free with automatic doors which were propped open when I visited. There is a red rope queuing divide in place, but it still leaves plenty of room to move along the cake cabinet. They're famous for their fudge donuts, but also sell Dundee cake and a huge selection of other cakes and biscuits. I could have spent a lot longer in their than I did!

Toilets

I didn't look to see if there were any as I was taking cakes way. It's possible as there's a seating area, but if not the bakery is close to the shopping centre which has good accessible loos.
