Overview
This is the best arena we have visited for accessibility, well trained staff and affordability eg. Allowing a free ticket for a companion/carer. Seating is well positioned and sometimes on front row of the floor (depending on which show). My husband is wheelchair bound but also visually impaired.
Transport & Parking
Car parking is on street but some bays are very near venue and free for blue badge holders.
Access
Access is good, when shows have floor seating wheelchairs are allowed on front row. There also lots of wheelchair seating om level with great view of stage. Companion can sit beside you. Lifts are large and roomy and manned by staff.
Toilets
Lots of disabled loos. Unisex with radar key accessand very roomy.
Staff
Staff are great. These days your bags are searched but so does everyones. Staff are on hand to assist and will help when needed they ask periodically if you are ok.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is the best arena for access and staff. It is close to our home too and the only arena which allows a free companion ticket. All others have to pay normal price.
