Overview
This was a family day out visiting the beach at Filey. Disabled parking on the seafront is very limited. We parked in a big car park (payment required) at the top of a steep ravine. I made it down ok in my powerchair but a manual chair would be a challenge, as would a weak powerchair! Once down, you can go right along the seafront and enjoy the views. There are three disabled toilets, one at either end which are pretty poor and not enough room, and a more modern one half way along which is much better. There are the usual cafe's and shops along the front with open air seating. The beach is great for an all-terrain chair, being hard compacted sand all the way along.
