Little city centre refreshment
Visit date:

Overview
Situated in the historic Grassmarket area of Edinburgh this traditional bar is easily accessed from the street by a side door. The food was good and service, very good. Although we visited during the day, some evenings they have live traditional Scottish music.
Transport & Parking
On street parking but being near the city centre it is restricted. There is a good bus service that passes the door.
Access
Level access into the bar from the street through double doors. Once inside, It was easy enough to get around and the staff helped to rearrange the tables and chairs, as we arrived with 2 wheelchair users in our party, with no fuss.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet. The only reason I gave it 2.5 stars is because I was never there to use the facility.
Staff
I found them to be helpful, friendly staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As it was a lovely day on our visit they had the full length windows wide open so it was as if we were on the street. We sat by the window and it was relaxing watching the world go by.
