Overview
I adore this place, I work here but it's really not accessible. It's a old building and we have no ramp for the two stone steps out the front and there is absolutely no space to move a wheelchair around. Kids section is down a winding staircase. I am doing my best to make it accessible where I can as I myself am disabled. But unfortunately we will never achieve full accessibility just because of the was the shop was built. If you do come by let me or my colleagues know and we will be more than happy to help you out. Advanced apologies for the lack of accessibility.
Transport & Parking
There is no parking belonging to the shop nearest would be Tesco car park which has disabled spots but they are rarely empty and it's about a 10 minute walk for me with my lack of mobility.
Access
There is two stone steps to the front. Kids section is virtually unaccessible do to the stairs I often struggle with it. If you need a seat any time during your visit just let us know and I will do everything I can to help you out. We can order books in, I need to confirm but I do think I can get large print and braille in for you, I promise to help however I can.
Toilets
Unfortunately we don't have an accessible toilet as where it is in the shop we can't let the public though it's just not safe as it's next to our storage. Your nearest is again Tesco's
Staff
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Whilst I do where a mask working quite a few of my coworkers do not and many customers don't either. We do have disposable ones under the counter so just let us know if they are needed
