Overview
I haven't been here for many years. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how accessible it is. The paths are a bit rough and ready in places and there were a couple where the they were a bit too rough with loose gravel causing me to skid a bit. We were told that those paths were quite new and not fully bedded in as it were. We were asked for feedback so that hopefully the paths will be made even better. `` There is no way i could have attempted most of this without a decent powerchair or scooter. We will be visiting here quite often I think. It will be interesting to see what the paths are like in the wet. There were many different birds and other wildlife to see and many hides and benches to stop and watch them. There is a visitor centre selling refreshments (we didn't use it today so no idea what they served) A wheelchair accessible toilet at the visitors centre.
Transport & Parking
A fair number of blue badge spaces on level ground
Access
3 seems a bit harsh but that reflects that using a manual chair would be pretty much impossible. If your have a powerchair/scooter then more is accessible
Toilets
Staff
We were given a map and clear explanation of which paths may be tricky. We we also asked for feedback instantly for them to be able to improve accessibility.
