Overview
Level access to get in, easy to move around the restaurant, friendly staff, fully accessible toilet - but see my toilet comments below.
Transport & Parking
Southwark Station (Jubilee Line) is yards away and is fully step-free. I wouldn't dream of trying to park in this area. Waterloo Station is about half a mile away, Jubilee Line at Waterloo also step-free (on a good day).
Access
Brilliant wheelchair access in every respect. Beware of grazing your knuckles on your way to the toilet, there is an old tree-trunk at the back counter with a sharp stump of a branch sticking out, I grazed myself horribly on it, ugh.
Toilets
A perfectly good accessible toilet, one snag was that the red emergency cord had been tied up into a sort of hideous high-level contemporary macramé artwork and would not be reachable by anyone who fell to the floor. Very thoughtless, dangerous and annoying. See my photo below.
Staff
Friendly, attentive and discreet service - alert but not intrusive. One star lost for their failure to understand that the red emergency cord in the toilet must hang freely all the way to the floor.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Wonderful food - a little over-priced, and don't bother with the ice-cream. Very agreeable outdoor seating area.
