This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair, Dementia
Overview
we tried 30 other venues and travelled for over an hour to this one. our group is 10 people. we have grandad with Dementia and in a wheelchair. two daughters with complex needs and a son with learning difficulty. there was no way we could feesibly split our group and this venue allowed us to take part in THE CABIN IN THE WOODS a locked room experience. The staff were very helpful, very patient and we all had such a good time! escapermk.co.uk / info@escapermk.co.uk / 07727 984004
Transport & Parking
parking is outside the venue. we had no problem parking at 2pm on friday in the easter hols
Access
once inside its excellent but there is a small step to get to the front door.
Toilets
the loo had a problem the day we went. the management acknowledged this immediatly and i had an email apologising and assuring me that they have resolved the problem. a standard large room with full bars etc. no change bench.
Staff
the staff could not have been more accommodating.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
the CABIN IN THE WOODS is not the only locked room available. there is another that can be accessed by someone in a wheelchair but that person would not be able to fully participate [i dont want to give the game away here] but they could very nearly fully join in and im told others have enjoyed that room too. CABIN IN THE WOODS has some gory bits! we were warned beforehand and our daughters managed well once they knew the props were halloween toys.
