Overview
Emma’s is a new small family run accessible cafe, very friendly, serving good coffee, cakes, snacks, light meals and ice cream . It is slightly elevated from the Prom but a well graded tarmac path provides easy access on the playground side. It’s elevation means splendid views across Morecambe Bay.
Transport & Parking
The cafe is on the Prom so does not have adjacent parking, but there is good access by wheelchair or mobility scooter onto the promenade
Access
There is a graded concrete path up from the Prom , free of steps . The door is wide with a slight lip. The small interior has a breakfast bar on three sides, this frees the central space meaning wheelchair access is not impeded by tables and chairs.
Toilets
There is an ordinary portacabin Loo at the moment but a larger loo with more space will be installed shortly
Staff
I came in with a bulky mobility scooter, I would probably leave outside in future. They were very accommodating and helpful.
