Overview
The store is very modern so accessible throughout but marred by attitude of cafeteria manager. If I get a reply to my complaint I will rate higher. Added 24-10-17. I received a phone call from a senior manager responsible for cafe staff. He said there should have been no problem as power sockets are available for charging phones and pads. He confirmed Portugal has laws re access for disabled people and in this case their response was not acceptable. He will speak to the person who refused me and update all staff.
Transport & Parking
We came by Metro. Car park under store. It is on the Ho Ho Bus route.
Access
Store has wide aisles and large modern elevators.
Toilets
One of the best I have seen. Lots of circulation and transfer space. Adjustable full size sink. Emergency Cord all around wall at 300mm but not colour contrasted. Rails to toilet have front parts the extend.
Staff
We went up to the cafeteria for a meal. The battery on my scooter was very low. I asked if I could plug it in while we ate. I got an emphatic NO from the manager along with a dismissive gesture. There was a waiter with perfect English. Had I been given a reason I would have accepted it. Visit marred. Won't go back unless I get a reason to my written complaint. I did get a phone call. This manager was out of order and in contravention of Portuguese legislation. My 5* are for manager who phoned me.
