Overview

I booked this apartment online. I don't need a completely accessible apartment as I can stand for short periods and walk short distances. The complex is reached from the main coast road by a short but steep access road. There is a code to open the gate. An electronic key will unlock the door to the building but someone has to open it as it doesn't open electronically. There is a lift with a very low step in front of the doors - I estimate around 2cm. The bathroom is not accessible. My husband had to push me up the steep access road at least once a day for a week. He is very fit but it was still a strain.

Transport & Parking

We didn't have a car. There is private parking onsite. I don't know how many disabled spaces there are but there seems to be plenty of space.

Access

Only the very low 'step' in front of each lift.

The couple who were our contacts were very helpful. I did not need to contact them re access issues.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I would recommend this complex if you can walk even a little but avoid if steep hills are a problem.
