Overview

The staff were lovely but the store itself is rubbish. My dad walks with a stick, very slowly because of a lung condition and can't stand for any length of time. In the store (which we had to use as he has a contract with EE) there were low, backless stools to sit on (he can't get down that far) or high 'breakfast bar' stools at bars. Absolutely nothing for anyone who just needs a standard hight chair (ideally with arms, but he could have managed without that at a pinch). Sorting out a phone is a long process, so he had to lean against one of the high stools for half an hour, clearly uncomfortable but with no other option. It took him the rest of the day to recover. Only go to EE if you are a bright young thing who is fit and healthy: they clearly don't care in the least about older customers or anyone with limited mobility.

Transport & Parking

there are disabled parking spaces in front of the Sainsbury's store but after that you have to walk up a long slope or steps to reach the store. My Dad was worn out before we got there from the distance and increased level of the store

Access

I think you could get a wheelchair or mobility scooter into the shop, but no help at all for those with other mobility aids

Toilets

no loo, accessible or otherwise

Staff

staff were lovely, if slow, but didn't seem to understand the problem even when I asked if there was a proper chair available rather than a stool.
