Overview
Car Parking is both limited and on a very steep incline, making it very difficult for an independent wheelchair supporter. Other parking options involve similarly challenging routes. Otherwise, facilities, staff, internal access, seating and viewing experience are excellent.
Transport & Parking
Easter Road. Recommended blue badge parking on St Clair Street was full and on a very steep hill. No knowledge of public transport options.
Access
Signage appeared adequate but required to request directions from staff who were knowledgeable and helpful. Roads around stadium can be uneven and in poor repair making navigation troublesome. Access to stadium is perhaps the most challenging of all Scottish Premiership stadia.
Toilets
Accessible toilet was adequate and clean. Access is level but slightly awkward and difficult to see since faces away from the pitch on the middle of the access ramp. It may be smaller than comfortable for carer assistance but I would defer to carers for comment.
Staff
All staff appeared to be knowledgeable and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would contact Hibernian's DSA for advice on car parking and stadium access since he may have more recent information on options. I believe that Hibs Disabled Supporters are very active and work closely with the club and were recently discussing improvements to car parking arrangements. If so, my external access concerns may have been rendered obsolete.
