Overview
Mostly made up of gravel paths, very small doorways and rooms and just really not good for people with mobility problems. It also is very very hot in the butterfly and even the bird rooms and the cafe is under a glass roof so again is very hot therefore if you have problems with temperature, like me, I'd suggest that you don't go. Staff were on the whole unhelpful and the first desk to pay to go in was on this day manned by someone who quite clearly didn't want to be bothered and at a couple of points looked extremely angry as we sorted out whether carers were free or there was a concessions rate for disabled. Carers have to pay half price, and disabled full price. But as I couldn't go round a lot of places and couldn't see a number of attractions due to one having steps only and other ones being too gravelly it really wasn't worth the cost for me. I wouldn't have been able to get round on my mobility scooter as it was too tight in just my manual chair.
Transport & Parking
3 disabled parking bays, but the car park was loose gravel (although not as deep as in other areas)

Toilets
I gave them one star for actually having a disabled toilet, however I didn't really fancy going in it as it was covered in used toilet roll and paper towels.
