On Wednesday 12th March, in collaboration with the Scottish Sensory Centre at Edinburgh University, Dynamic Earth will open its doors with special adjustments made with Deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors in mind as part of our first ever Deaf Science Day.
What to Expect:
- Subtitled exhibits throughout the day
- Brightened spaces to ensure interpreters are easily visible
- Planetarium shows with BSL interpretation
- School workshops delivered in BSL by inspiring Deaf scientists
At Dynamic Earth, we believe everyone can be a problem solver of the future! This event is a unique opportunity to inspire curiosity and creativity in science while making adjustments to ensure Deaf visitors feel welcome and engaged.
