Overview
We enjoyed this wonderful wetland reserve from the moment we arrived. The car park was a little uneven but no problem in my wheelchair. The entrance was nicely ramped and from there everything was level, the boardwalk through the marsh was wide. At the end was the three story viewing tower with a nice wheelchair lift to the top. The volunteer staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were entranced to see the pair of nesting osprey feeding on a nice trout and preparing the nest. I understand the first egg was laid a few days later. Altogether a memorable visit.
