Overview
As others have said, the cathedral is really interesting and they have put ramps in to make it as accessible as possible. If you can manage a few steps and then sit down I think just about every where can be seen. We joined a group for a tour and it was worth it. Then there's a lift to get down to the cafe and loo
Transport & Parking
We'd been told parking at the cathedral is really difficult so we parked in the Prince Bishop car park. Blue Badge is level 1, underground. There's an easy lift up to street level (press S) and then a short walk (200 yards??) to a bus stop for the cathedral. The bus has a ramp to allow a scooter or wheelchair to get on BUT THERE IS ONLY SPACE FOR ONE. Buses are every 20 minutes. A short trip up a very steep hill to the top where the castle and the cathedral are located. Shopmobility is also on level 1 of the car park and you can hire scooters etc.
