A modern leisure centre with good facilities for disabled patrons.

Transport & Parking

The centre itself is a bit off the beaten track, so a walk if arriving by foot. However there is a large car park with plenty of disabled bays available.

Access

Automatic doors lead inside where it level access. However heavy internal doors leading to gym & pool areas may cause problems. The pool changing area is quite narrow and the disabled changing room is at the rear.

Toilets

There are three of these - one each in the gym/pool disabled changing rooms, and one outside behind reception. All are easy to access.

Staff

Staff are very good - and will give extra help if asked. Pool attendants & gym staff know their jos and are very approachable.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I have been coming here off and on for twelve or so years (to swim - I do have support but not in the water, however this can be arranged for those who bring helpers) Ditto the gym. There is also a cafe selling drinks and snacks.
