Very handy to know about if visiting Drogheda

Overview
Drogheda Town Centre is a shopping centre in the town centre, with shops, cafe and cinema and step free access and accessible toilet.
Transport & Parking
Drogheda train station is about a 15-20 minute level walk away. There are buses that stop close by. The bus station is on the opposite side of the River Boyne, about a 5 minute level walk away.
Access
There is step free access via two lifts which take visitors up to the shops, cafe and cinema (sorry I don't know about access with the cinema as I didn't visit it). The shops are on one level and there are some bench seating without back support or arms dotted around.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet, along a short corridor. It has a manual door. It was spacious, clean, tidy and well maintained. There were plenty of grab rails but no emergency cord.
Staff
I had no interaction with any staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There are two entrances to the shopping centre, one with lift to the upper floor on Dyer Street, which is what the photos are of, and another step free entrance on West Street. If the shopping centre is open you could cut through from Dyer Street to West Street to cut off part of the upward slope. It is also one of the few places with an accessible toilet. This is handy to know about and to visit if you're in Drogheda.
