Overview

We had visited here about twice a year before the pandemic. Our last visit was November 2019. This was our first time back since then due to restrictions etc. We booked a dinner bed and breakfast offer. The hotel is on the edge of dunblane , with view over the. Town, to reach the hotel you drive up a long winding road, the are few parking spaces at The front including one for disabled but access to the hotel from here is up steps. The main car park is round the back with disabled parking spaces and a level entrance via a door that has a push button opening. You then go up a ramp and along a corridor to a small lift just big enough for a standard size wheelchair and carer, this takes you up to the bar, restaurant lounges, and reception. Our room was fully accessible with a wet room bathroom complete with shower seat, grab rails. Plenty of space for the wheelchair in the bathroom and a lower sink with easy use taps.. There was also plenty of space. In the bedroom for the wheelchair to manoeuvre around. Switches and plugs all at a suitable height for a wheelchair user. The bedroom had views over the town. The lounge and bar area is very nice comfy chairs and tables plus helpful staff who understood my needs. The staff were helpful and made us feel very welcome . We would certainly return to stay again.

Transport & Parking

Disabled parking spaces at the rear of the hotel in the main car park. Access was easy to the hotel form the car park as it’s all level with a push button door into hotel.

Access

Again this is. Very good level access from the car park , ramps and lifts I the hotel . Plenty of space to manoeuvre the wheelchair.

Toilets

There were toilet but I only use the one in our bedroom . Which was fully accessible

Staff

All the staff who we came across were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.we would certainly stay here again
