Overview

We stayed at the hotel because of its reputation as being great for wheelchair users. The icing on the cake was its location a short distance along from Amsterdam Central Station.

Transport & Parking

Transport from the hotel was easy to access being only a very short walk from the Central Station, the river ferries, and the tram stop.

Access

Disabled access throughout the hotel was excellent. With several lifts to all floors, the Sky Bar, the restaurant and its waterside setting. We knew we were on to a good thing when on our first morning at breakfast we saw several other wheelchair users. The service was excellent, the accessible room large and spacious, and the facilities superb.

Toilets

The room's accessible bathroom was great. The accessible loo in the public area down by the restaurant was enormous. Very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Staff

The staff were among some of the most helpful we have met on our many adventures. We'd visit again simply for the first class service provided.
