Overview
This is a Nature Reserve which has a viewing area so visitors can see the grey seals as they come on land to give birth to their pups from October to December. If you are there at the right time you may see a pup being born. The viewing area and path from main car park is now fully accessible to wheelchairs although it can be a little bumpy and might be a little muddy if it has been raining. Having said that, it is wonderful to be able to get so close to these beautiful creatures.
Transport & Parking
We parked in the main car park which is now accessible for wheelchairs. If that is full however, the overflow car park is in a field so would not be so easy.
Access
Wooden paths had metalled grids on so they were not slippery. The viewing path was hard compacted stone so a bit bumpy. Signs in the car park to allow disabled access to the path.
Toilets
No toilets
Staff
The staff are all Trust volunteers, very friendly
