Overview
We went to the theatre to see “American in Paris”. It was really good. The venue is wheelchair accessible and the staff were great. The theatre is in the centre of London and so surrounding areas are busy.
Transport & Parking
We took a taxi from Piccadilly Circus to the theatre.
Access
There is flat access into the theatre. When we entered the theatre we were greeted by a member of staff who took me to the stair lift. The stair lift allows wheelchair users to access to the lower level where stall seating is. Initially I was not happy with the wheelchair space that I was supposed to be in. There was not much space and the floor was sloped downwards. The member of staff quickly tried to resolve the problem and suggest I sat at in the wheelchair space behind me which is more spacious and there is no slope (see photo ).it was much better and despite being in the back row the view was good.I would recommend that anybody who needs a wheelchair space should request the space in the back row.
Toilets

Staff
The member of staff that helped us was extremely friendly and accommodating. She even came back in the interval to check everything was OK and asked if we needed any snacks.
