Overview
Partner booked hotel on 5/6/23, as a surprise. My partner asked about accessibility eg steps, moving around site and rooms, as I have limited mobility and informed booking of this. Booking advised there was just a few steps. Arrived on 9/6 to discover that I couldn’t park outside my room as the bay was so narrow I couldn’t get out of my car. Room was manageable (dated), but no grab rails anywhere. We ate out. Next morning I discovered that the breakfast room was up a flight of stairs! Not just a few steps. Staff asked if I could manage steps, I said no but was seated at a table up two large and steep steps. Able bodied guests had flat access. Complaints to the hotel have taken days to be responded to, and the response is appalling.
