Overview
An accessible canal boat to see London from a different perspective and to take in some places of interest on the way - whatever floats your boat!!
Transport & Parking
Free cark parking at the home mooring for the duration of your trip
Access
Ramp and lift for wheelchair All moorings on tow path or pontoon with ramped access nearby to exit canal. On board are 2 bunks and 6 fold up beds which you have to get out and stow each day. Plenty of space for a couple of wheelchair inside and room outside at the bow. You cannot access stern in a chair.
Toilets
A little tight and must be able to transfer. Support rails and shower stool. Toilet flush on pedal. Remember, this is a boat, carrying it's own water supply so "ship shower" so you don't run out!
Staff
You get your own crew included in the price! They are very friendly, knowledgeable and take care of steering, locks, mooring etc. You can have a go, which is encouraged, life jackets a must for this - all supplied. The crew are volunteers, so include them when making drinks, meals etc.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is a relaxing way to go round London, we stopped off at the Olympic Park, Museum of London, Docklands, Camden Market, London Canal Museum. We moored at Three Mills, Limehouse Basin, Little Venice and the Canal Museum. You can just go for a day trip, 5 days (which we did) or 7 days. You set the agenda so research before you head off or just head north towards Hertford!
