Overview
Wheelchair accessible restaurant with any needs met by the lovely staff. Delicious food that is average priced for the area. A great meal out.
Transport & Parking
The car park behind the restaurant is gravel and suitable to park, with a small street on the left of the restaurant leading up the the front entrance. Also at the front of the restaurant is a cobbled street, which allows car parking for up to 3 hours and priority given to disabled permits. There is a bus stop straight outside of the front entrance via the cobbled street.
Access
The disabled access to the restaurant was adequate. A ramp outside the restaurant is in place and there is downstairs seating available. No lift present in the restaurant due to size, although it is not needed as seating downstairs will be booked.
Toilets
The accessible loo was appropriate and suitable. It had grab rails, plenty of space to maneovre and a carer. The alarm cord was hanging right next to the toilet, surprising to find in restaurants as they are usually tied up.
Staff
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The manager is more than helpful and will be more than happy to make everything perfect and try their best to accommodate your needs.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would recommend this restaurant in the hustling village of Uppermill in Saddleworth to everyone, including people with additional needs. There has been many occasions when people with additional needs have received upmost attention and help during their visit to make it satisfactory to their needs.
