Overview
We went for lunch, having booked. The staff had thoughtfully wedged the door open before our arrival time, showed us to an easily-accessed table and removed a chair because my wife doesn't transfer. Service was excellent, the menu varied and interesting, and the wine list good. The restaurant is all on one level.
Transport & Parking
Can't comment on the parking. We stay locally and wheeled/walked there. There are nearby eastbound and westbound bus stops served frequently by Lothian 12, 26 & 31 buses. The City Centre West East Link cycle path works have now been completed in Roseburn, so pavement access is back to normal.
Access
A wide doorway with a sill so low you'll scarcely notice it. The seating area is all on one level. There is also outdoor seating if the weather is suitable. The circulating space in the restaurant is good.
Toilets
I'm giving this five stars though we didn't use or inspect the facility. The loo is on the same level as the eating area. I checked with the restaurant after our visit, since we are keen to go again, and they told me that the accessible loo has a distress alarm cord, which drops all the way to the floor, unlike some. Within the toilet space there are the necessary support bars and motion operated towel bins.
Staff
They could not have been more friendly or helpful and we were made very welcome. Service was swift and professional and they came to check on our drinks and how we were enjoying the food, which we definitely were.
