Overview
We went today cos we were passing. It was amazing. Just so happened we stumbled upon it on “tasting day”. We’ve got some really nice treats for a picnic we’re going on tomorrow. The farm is dog friendly and there is loads of water and shade for them including some nice walks. They even sell dog ice lollies in a pot! There is food and drink for the humans too of course. There is a kids play area. The carpark is huge with plenty of disabled and family parking, as well as a shaded parking area for people with dogs (as dogs aren’t allowed in the farm shop). All the staff were lovely. We learnt a lot about chickens from a lovely young girl and said hello to the sheep. Looking forward to visiting again soon. I’d like to go to the spa.
Transport & Parking
I have no idea about public transport but the car parking is brilliant. They have a large gravel carpark. But they also have lots of disabled and family spaces on the tarmac for easy access. They know how hard gravel can be for wheels. They have bike parking. And electric charging. And they even have shaded parking for people with dogs.
Access
We were able to access all the stores. The farm shop isn’t dog friendly but they had no issues with my assistance dog coming in with me. The isles are wide enough to move around and the staff were so helpful. We didn’t go in the spa but it looks like it has a lift.
Toilets
Lovely spacious toilet. I didn’t see a changing places loo but I may have missed it.
Staff
Just so friendly and knowledgeable. We loved trying all the tasters and came away with some tasty treats for tomorrows picnic.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There was a sign at the entrance telling you about future events (like the classic car show etc) so I’d like to go to some of those too
