Overview
Most staff were very helpful, came across a couple of obstacles as a powerchair user, but on the whole- quite an okay stay. Bit expensive for just okay.
Transport & Parking
We came by car and Google Maps got us there easily. There were only four disabled parking spots, though, which were taken. Plenty of spaces in the main carpark though.
Access
Entry to the hotel and through to rooms etc was very easy and smooth, although I personally found the building a little labyrinth-like and quite confusing. However, the staff were very helpful at finding the way for you, even if they were quite unsure themselves (the place is huge, though) The room was an accessible room, it wasn't spacious, but beautifully furnished and comfortable. It was a nice space and well designed. One annoying feature was the light switch for the toilet was placed at the rhs of the door, which opens from the left, towards you. (Not a big deal, just annoying) The Brasserie restuarant was a different story, however, as it is up 4 or 5 steps and the only accessible route is a foldaway ramp. This gives you a very steep gradient, a bit of a hair raising (understatement) experience downhill, which had to be done more than once as there are no accessible toilets at restuarant level. At breakfast, I had to ask my husband to bring my plate from the buffet, as there were steps up to the food area. The staff here were much more matter of fact about no disabled access, but at least there was no crazy ramp.
Toilets
There were plenty of accessible toilets dotted all around the hotel, just not at the Brasserie restuarant.
Staff
Most of the staff were very helpful and obliging, especially the Brasserie Chef, who cooked me an off-menu dish to suit my dietary requirements. There would have been five stars if we hadn't been moved out of a seating area for post dinner drinks.
