Overview
We were looking for a wheelchair accessible cafe for a nice lunch and this was perfect for us. Spacious, airy, wide door for access. No steps, everything on one level. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hygiene rating of 5 out of 5. There wasn't a wide range on the menu, mostly breakfast items (available nearly all day), paninis and cakes. There were gluten free options. We tried three different paninis and they were all fresh, tasty and delicious (two were vegetarian). We all had tea to drink. This was loose leaf, served in pots with filters and was plentiful and a good flavour. Different milk options were available at no extra charge. There were dog treats available at the counter (which I think were free?) The toilet was suitable for disabled customers and was spacious, clean and easily accessible. There were also a few craft items, cards, etc available for sale.
Transport & Parking
It's a city centre cafe, so doesn't have its own parking. We parked for free, without time restriction , in an on-road blue badge space near by. However, the blue badge spaces can get parked up, so it's just luck on availability.
Access
Spacious, airy, wide door for access. No steps, everything on one level.
Toilets
There was just one loo. It was a standard disabled loo but it was roomy and clean. Easily accessible (no need to manoevre around furniture or other customers).
Staff
The staff were friendly and helpful. Quickly moved a chair from the table for us. Cheerfully gave us an extra plate and additional cutlery. Asked if there was anything else that we needed.
