Small but enjoyable Botanic Garden run by Aberdeen University

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair
Overview
As explained on the website, two areas of the garden - The sunken garden and the arboretum are not wheelchair accessible. However there is plenty for wheelchair users to enjoy.
Transport & Parking
We did see a couple of wheelchair user parking spaces - the vehicle entrance is in St Machar Drive. Bus no. 20 from the city centre gets you quite close - see review of St Machar's Cathedral for detail.
Access
The entrance from the Chanonry is made a bit tricky by a short stretch of cobbles. Otherwise paths are smooth and slopes gentle, other than those leading do an to the sunken garden, which is not rated as wheelchair accessible. The leaflet dispenser is located so that no-one in a wheelchair could reach it, which is a pity.
Toilets
There are none in the garden, but there is a wheelchair accessible loo in The Hub, just across St Machar Drive. See separate review.
Staff
We didn't encounter any.
