Overview
I stayed in the disabled accessible room for two nights. The room itself is a good size, with a sizable wet floor shower room, and a good shower. There is a small lift to access the upstairs bedrooms. The restraunt is downstairs and is step free and has a disabled toilet. The hotel is in a converted old pub. As a result there are fairly narrow corridors, some tight turns and a few heavy doors to negotiate upstairs. There is no parking, other than restricted street parking (limited to 45mins during the day) I would therefore recommend this for those travelling with others but maybe not so much for those on their own
Transport & Parking
There is no parking other than restricted parking on the street. The restriction only allows 45min parking between 8.30am and 6pm. There are no dedicated disabled spaces. There are several car parks nearby but then involve a distance back to the hotel
Access
Access to the restaurant is very good...completely flat. To access bedrooms there is a lift. The corridors are a bit narrow and there are 3-4 heavy doors to negotiate
Toilets
Good size disabled toilet in the restaurant. The only negative point is that there are two doors. The second has a normal lock which may make summoning help difficult
Staff
Very helpful
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Great place but would advise that a helper may be required for parking and negotiating heavy doors
