Overview
This is a stunning hotel, which is accessible (to a point) and offers fantastic food, relaxation and 5 star customer service. A must visit for anyone in the area...............oh and it's owned by Scotland's own Andy Murray.
Transport & Parking
There is accessible parking at the near end of the building, as you make your way up the driveway you will see a sign directing you up to the right hand side as the road forks. The surface is small pebble stones, which may be an issue for some, but was fine for us.
Access
We entered through the side of the building (next to the small chapel), which had a small ramp leading to an old wooden door. There was a staff member waiting to assist us inside, but there is a door bell in case you need any support. Once inside, the bottom floor was very easy to move around in. We were just having afternoon tea, so didn't check if there were any accessible bed rooms.
Toilets
Although there was no changing places loo, the toilets in the Cromlix were quite spacious and extremely clean.
Staff
I've been to the Cromlix a few times now, and every time I am blown away but the warmth of the staff. The customer service before and during the visit, was second to none.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
You do need to book many months in advance for a weekend afternoon tea at the Cromlix. There is also a restaurant which serves fantastic food. A great place for a treat, and as a Scottish tennis fan I love being able to say I was eating dinner at "Andy's Hoose".
