Overview
Peaceful village setting ,fully accessible facilities with the amazing award winning sensory garden. Missed not seeing the Winster Morris dancers this year due to Covid. They danced outside the Red Lion micro brewery pub last year. The Nine Ladies stone circle is a mile up the road. Four thousand years old and very peaceful.
Transport & Parking
Parked our wheelchair Accessible vehicle out side the front door of the bungalow.
Access
Access to the bungalow is up a well built ramp and through the front door. There is a slight lip at the threshold .The bungalow. And amazing garden are all on one level. Lots of benches round the garden for a rest.
Toilets
The loo is fully accessible, lots of space, with grab rails and space for a carer. Very clean and a hoist is available to use for changing.
Staff
Steve the owner was very helpful when we needed anything. He was very helpful when we needed a bigger chair for the garden for an elderly relative who was visiting .
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Hand sanitizer was provided and antiviral cleaner was provided. I would highley recommend it to other people .We were delighted to be able to return this year and will come back next year.
