Overview
We always holiday here because of the excellent disabled access for my wheelchair. We enjoy going to the small cinema, the Victorian Spa for the jacuzzi, (which is the same height as my wee wheelchair), a Spa pedicure with the massaging chair (very relaxing), or a manicure. Last year I had a massage which was a treat. Last night was the Ceilidh (every Saturday evening). Great to watch everyone enjoying the Ceilidh Band. I have breakfast in bed every day and love the view from my bed with two huge windows. The last few days there has been snow on mountains around Crieff. We find the staff are very kind and helpful. nothing is too much trouble. Lifts all over the hotel and plenty of wheelchair accessible rooms with wet-room bathrooms to choose from.
Transport & Parking
Disabled parking at the front of the hotel and drop off parking too. Push button automatic door to the reception. The staff will come with a trolley and pick up your luggage from your car at the front of the hotel. If you arrive too early for check-in at 2pm and your room is not ready, your luggage will be stored to be delivered to your room later.
Access
Level access at the entrance and automatic door with a button press. disabled rooms on the ground floor close to the reception, and the Winter Garden Cafe and shop. Lift access to all levels and restaurants and the cinema, Victorian Spa (adults only), Swimming pools, Beauty salon etc. You can access everything easily in the hotel.
Toilets
The public disabled loos are big and have drop down bars in each one. Room for carers and sinks at a good height. One on the ground floor along from reception, one opposite the cinema and Brasserie, a huge one in the Victorian Spa(recently renovated, another down at the Hub cafe, where the children's activity building is and the sports hall. this one has a walk in shower as well.
Staff
The staff are great. James is one of the porters, and manages to get all of our bags and our shopping and the wheelchair back in the car each year. He always makes us laugh. Anything you need is always fixable at reception. The staff are very helpful. That is why we go back every year.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We love going to Crieff Hydro. After very poor experiences in some other hotels, we will only go back to the Hydro every year. Our friends love the free 6 hour childcare for 2-12 year olds every day included in their stay in the Hydro or the self carering cottages there. 60 activities, 900 acres to explore too.

Great review! Thanks for sharing - I've been there for a conference but wasn't sure what the rooms were like... Based on this review I'll definitely be paying Crieff Hydro another visit.
